RetroQuest started the way most good things do, with a passion that got slightly out of hand. What began as a personal collection of consoles and cartridges grew into something bigger: a desire to make sure these games find new homes where they'll actually be played, not just displayed.
We're a specialist retro gaming shop based in Bristol, UK, trading in used video game hardware and software spanning from the NES all the way through to the PlayStation 4 era. Whether you're chasing a childhood favourite, building a collection, or discovering a classic for the first time, we're here to help you find it.
What we stock
We carry hardware, games, and accessories across four decades of gaming — from 8-bit classics like the NES and Master System, through the 16-bit golden age of the SNES and Mega Drive, into the 3D revolution of the N64 and PlayStation, and right up to the HD generation with the Xbox 360, PS3, and PS4.

We source inventory from across the UK, Europe, and Japan, including rare Japanese exclusives and region-specific variants you won't find elsewhere. Whether you're a first-time buyer or a seasoned collector, you'll get honest grading, accurate descriptions, and fair pricing.
Our process
Every game is checked, every console is tested, and everything is ready to play before it goes on sale. No surprises.
Every item that comes through RetroQuest has the option to be hand-detailed and deep cleaned to bring it back to its best. For consoles and hardware, we use an industrial ultrasonic cleaner to remove years of built-up grime, dust, and oxidation without any risk to the item itself. Cartridge pins, controller ports, and shell plastics all get individual attention. For games, a deep clean means covers are removed and cleaned, cases are restored, and discs are renewed through a professional disc refurbishment machine.
Condition is our utmost priority. We never carry out any refurbishment or cleaning work that could damage an item: no abrasive methods, no harsh chemicals, nothing that compromises the original hardware. If a process isn't safe for the piece, we don't do it. The goal is always to present each item in the best possible condition while preserving its integrity.
