What's in the box?

When browsing our store, you'll see items listed as Complete (Complete in box), Boxed, or Loose. Here's what to expect with each:

Complete (CIB)

Complete in box means you're getting everything the item originally shipped with. For a game, that's the box, the cartridge or disc, and the manual (if one was included).

Some titles also came with maps, posters, or other notable inserts. If these inserts are noteworthy or interesting in any way then we will include them.

If any of these extras are included, we'll mention them in the listing. If anything is missing from what would normally be considered complete, we'll note that too.

We don't count things like poly bags, registration cards, or other small bits of paper that nobody's realistically collecting. If a game has its box, manual, and cart or disc, then we consider it to be Complete.

For consoles, Complete means the unit itself, all AV and power cables* needed, any controllers originally shipped, and the original box with its inserts and packaging.

Boxed

Boxed means the item comes with its original box, but may be missing one or more of the other bits. A boxed game will typically include the box and the cartridge or disc, but might not have the manual or inserts. A boxed console will come in its original packaging with the unit and any controllers and cables* normally included, but might be missing a non-necessary cable or manuals or other inserts.

We'll always list exactly what's included so there are no surprises.

Loose

Loose is just the item itself with nothing else. For games, that's the cartridge or disc only. For consoles, it's the unit only. We often bundle these loose consoles with the cables* required to run them and a controller, however they are available to purchase by themselves.

If a loose console is missing any cables required to get it up and running, we'll say so in the listing.

*Please note: we do occasionally need to swap old power cables with new third party versions if they're considered to be a safety concern. AV cables may also be replaced with third party versions.
